Terms of Service

What Huddle is
Huddle helps you find gifts — for one person, for yourself, or as a group ("a Huddle"). We surface product recommendations and, for group gifting, coordinate pitching in and voting among a group of contributors. Huddle does not sell products directly; you complete any purchase on the retailer's own website via a link we provide.
Payments are between you and other people, not Huddle
This is the most important part of these terms. Huddle does not process, hold, custody, or guarantee any payment. In a Group Huddle, contributors pay the organiser directly via their own banking app, using payout details (PayID, or BSB and account number) the organiser has entered into Huddle for display purposes only. When a contributor marks themselves "paid," that is a self-reported status — Huddle has no way to verify that a transfer actually happened, and does not confirm, insure, or guarantee it. Any dispute about whether a payment was made, refunded, or correctly amounted is between the individuals involved, not Huddle. If you organise or join a Huddle, you're trusting the other participants directly, the same as you would splitting a bill with friends by any other means.
Product recommendations
Gift suggestions are generated using a mix of a curated product catalog and AI-assisted search, and may include AI-written explanations of why a product was suggested. We aim for accuracy, but prices, availability, ratings, and delivery estimates shown in Huddle are sourced from third parties and can be out of date or wrong by the time you check out — always confirm details on the retailer's own site before buying. We're not responsible for the availability, quality, delivery, or condition of anything you purchase from a third-party retailer.
Affiliate links
Some outbound product links are affiliate links, and we may earn a commission if you make a purchase through them, at no extra cost to you. See our Privacy Policy for more.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for anything that happens under your account. Contributors who join a Huddle via a join code without creating an account are responsible for the display name and answers they submit.
Acceptable use
Don't use Huddle to harass anyone, submit false payout details, or attempt to abuse or overload the service (including automated or excessive use of the gift-matching features). We may suspend or remove accounts that do.
Limitation of liability
Huddle is provided as-is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we're not liable for any loss arising from a payment made directly between users, a purchase made on a third-party retailer's site, or reliance on an AI-generated recommendation or explanation.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Huddle after a change means you accept the updated terms.
